The Sanskaar Techfest 2023

• The topic of the event will be declared on 1st April 2023.
• Participants are expected to create an image within one hour depicting the given topic.
• The balance use of 3D library and self-drawn images should be used to create the drawing.
• The final image should be saved in the form of .jpeg or .png.
• Students need to upload the file on the shared drive link.

The Quiz Bowl Competition is aimed to bring out the best in a student and recognize their true potential. We are working to motivate students to explore the field of science and technology. Quiz will be based on the areas including Technical Knowledge and Entertainment (Sports, Movies, Advertisements Brands etc).

• Students will participate in a group of three for each category.
• Participants must join online at the specified time for the event. Participants who will not join in stipulated time will be automatically disqualified.
• Elimination round will be an individual round, where scores of the individual participants will be added to arrive at the cumulative team score.
• The top 5 teams will be selected for the final round.
• Misbehaviour of participants during the event, may lead to disqualification.
• The Quiz master’s decision shall be final and binding to the participating member/s. No queries will be entertained thereafter.

The details of the elimination round will be shared with the registered students.

• Plagiarism will not be accepted. The image must be original, and no watermark is allowed.

It is a story-telling platform, where the participating team will produce a one minute film. The theme will be given and explained in the general meeting. The students need to shoot the film with their video cameras and/or mobile phones.

• Teams are required to prepare a video of maximum 1 minute on the given theme.
• The participants can use any music, filters, animations etc. to create their video.
• Students may use any hardware or software to produce the video, but the specifications of the same needs to be given in a separate word file with the explanation of their creation.
• The video must contain the Event Name, Name of the Participants and School Name on the first frame.
• Movie needs to be saved in .mp4 format.
• Students need to upload the .mp4 files on the shared drive link.
• The file name should be “School Name_TeamNumber”.
• Top 3 teams will be announced during the Virtual Award Ceremony.

• Participants can use templates and 3rd party frameworks.
• Site needs to fully articulate the objective of the real/ imaginary theme.
• Submit the final website link in the form of a live site.
• Top 3 teams will be announced during the Virtual Award Ceremony.

The Innovative Tech Competition is aimed to harness the creative ability among the young minds of this generation. Participants have to identify a problem that falls in one of the given themes, propose their ideas and build a working model on their selected idea. The goal of the competition is to urge the team to come up with innovative solutions to the real-world problems.

Top 10 finalists will be invited to demonstrate their ideas to the jury.

• Each Team must submit their idea along with the video.
• Team has to submit an idea which they plan to use for making a working model. The idea must be covered in the selected topic of the competition. The team must express the idea in less than 250 words.
• The teams must make a working model/ prototype of their idea. Build it step by step to the best of their skill and understanding. Shoot a video with a video camera or smartphone. The length of the film must be less than 3 minutes.
• Teams can also add their voice in the video.
• Teams must ensure that the work submitted by them should be their own innovation.
• The teams can use live pictures, interviews, videos and audios to create the video.
• Teams should not use any copyright music or content in their video.
• Teams may use any hardware or software to produce the video, but the specifications of the same needs to be mentioned in the last frame of the video.
• The video must contain the Name of the Participants and School Name on the first frame.
• Teams need to upload the files on the shared drive link.
• The file name should be “EventName_School Name”.
• Top 10 finalists will be invited to demonstrate their model in front of the Techfest Jury online on 3rd April 2023. Teams will be given 10 minutes to demonstrate their ideas and showcase the working model. The jury may ask some questions to the participants.
