• Teams are required to prepare a short film of maximum 3 minute on the given theme.

• The last frame of the movie should be used for credits.
• The movie needs to be saved in .mp4 format.
• Screen Resolution should be 16:9.

The Junior Quiz Bowl Competition is aimed to bring out the best in a student and recognize their true potential. We are working to motivate students to explore the field of science and technology. Quiz will be based on areas including Technical Knowledge and Entertainment (Sports, Movies, Advertisements & Brands).

• Students will participate in a group of three.
• Participants must join online at the specified time for the event. Participants who will not join in stipulated time will be automatically disqualified.
• Elimination round will be an individual round, where scores of the individual participants will be added to arrive at the cumulative team score.
• The top 5 teams will be selected for the final round.
• Misbehaviour of participants during the event, may lead to disqualification.
• The Quiz master’s decision shall be final and binding to the participating member/s. No queries will be entertained thereafter.

Imagine that your Team works as a web designer/developer for an organization that is an international chain of luxury hotels across the globe. Your team has been tasked to build and design a creative website using HTML/CSS.

• Develop a multi-page website. The website should contain the following information -

  • Cuisines
  • Rooms & Ambience
  • COVID-19 Safety Measures
  • Social Work
• No prebuilt or purchased templates/themes should be used. Only CSS and HTML should be used.
• Website should include the following elements:

• This is a photography and editing competition.
• The photograph should depict the theme “Brightness in Darkness”.
• The photograph must be original, and no watermark is allowed.
• Participants may submit coloured and/or black and white photographs.
• The photograph must be of highest resolution possible.
• It can be in Landscape/Portrait mode.
• Photograph must have a caption.
• Photographs that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping, reasonable adjustments to exposure, color and contrast, etc.) will be disqualified.
• Both the raw and edited photo needs to be saved in .PNG format.
• The raw photo needs to be saved as “Raw_SchoolName_EventName”
• The final edited photo needs to be saved as “FinalEdit_SchoolName_EventName” and shared on mail id monika_pahilajani@sanskaarvalley.org

The Innovative Tech Competition is aimed to harness the creative ability among the young minds of this generation. Participants have to identify a problem that falls in one of the given themes, propose their ideas and build a working model on their selected idea. The goal of the competition is to urge team to come up with innovative solutions to the real world problems. Top 10 finalists will be invited to demonstrate their ideas to the jury.

• Each Team must submit their idea along with the video.
• Team has to submit an idea which they plan to use for making a working model. The idea must be covered in any one of the three selected topics of the competition. Team must express the idea in less than 250 words.
• The teams must make a working model/ prototype of their idea. Build it step by step to the best of your skill and understanding.
• Shoot a video of it with a video camera or smartphone. The length of the film must be less than 3 minutes.
• Teams can also add their voice in the video to explain it.
• Teams must ensure that the work submitted by them should be their own innovation.
• The teams can use live pictures, interviews, videos and audios to create the video.
• Teams should not use any copyright music or content in their video.
• Teams may use any hardware or software to produce the video, but the specifications of the same needs to be mentioned on the last frame of the video.
• The video must contain the Event Name, Name of the Participants and class on the first frame.

• The subject of the mail should be Innovative Tech Competition entry by Student Name.
• The shortlisting will be done based on the points it scored under the following categories: a)  Originality (novelty) of idea
  b)  Application of technology concepts

• Top 10 finalists will be invited to demonstrate their model in front of the Techfest Jury online. All participants will be given 10 minutes each to demonstrate the idea and showcase the working model. The jury may ask some questions to the participants. Each jury will provide individual scores to all participants based on:
  a) Working model
  b)Presentation and Q&A - The judges will ask some questions related to the model.

It is a story-telling platform, where the participating team will produce a one minute film. The theme will be given and explained on the day of competition. The students need to shoot the film with their video cameras and/or mobile phones.

• Teams are required to prepare a reel of maximum 1 minute on the given theme.
• The participants can use any music, filters, animations etc. to create their reels.
• Students may use any hardware or software to produce the reel, but the specifications of the same needs to be given on a separate word file with the explanation of their creation.
• The reel must contain the Event Name, Name of the Participants and Class on the first frame.
• Movies needs to be saved in .MP4 format.
• Students need to upload the MP4 files to One Drive/Google Drive, or YouTube and the link are required to be mailed at monika_pahilajani@sanskaarvalley.org
• The subject of the mail should be “Reel Competition entry by Student Name”.
